Luckily, we can remove this noise using a simple tool in Audacity. Removing background noise from your audio or video files is very important to produce high quality video or audio files. This is important if you are a content creator on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram or any other social media platforms. This is also a great skill to have to clean up your podcasts or even to make your transcription files easier to transcribe and listen to. And best of all, Audacity is totally free! This tutorial shows you how to clean up and remove noise from your audio. This will remove all the noise, hiss, hum and background noise from the audio or recording. I demonstrate on 2 samples, firstly removing the noise from a guitar recording and then a vocal. This technique is very fast and straightforward and with only a few clicks you can completely eliminate the noise from your recordings. This is especially helpful if you are using a cheaper/more affordable microphone with a lot of noise. I ended up liking it far more than expected and wanted to share it with you too. On my system, it is a lightweight, real-time (low latency) noise reduction and reverb removal solution for video editing, music production, vocal recording etc. It removes unwanted noise, hiss, hum, talking, traffic, (rivers!), wind, microphone bumps, construction work, room reverb, and echo from recordings with surprising quality. It's probably my favourite way to remove noise from recordings and make your voice sound more clear.
