This video shows you how to fix the no desktop audio error in OBS Studio. There are a few reasons why your desktop sound won't be heard in OBS. One of the simple solutions is to ensure the correct output device is selected. If the wrong device is selected, then OBS won't be able to stream the desktop audio. Alternatively, you can set your desktop audio to default. This will ensure your audio is being captured from the default listening device selected in your settings. You can select the correct device through the OBS audio settings. Another issue that can be causing no desktop audio to be heard is the volume being turned down. Audio volume can be controlled through the audio mixer in OBS via the sliders. Each audio device can be controlled on individually. Although rare, it's possible that the OBS audio is turned down in the Windows sound mixer. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU For people who don't want to watch the video Open the sound panel in the control panel and disable the Hands-free channel for the Bluetooth device you're using on the "Playback" and "Recording" tab. Why it is breaking when a device is recording desktop audio and using a microphone at the same time the Bluetooth device will decide to switch to Hands-free mode because it thinks you're on a call (I think) causing the stereo channel to receive no sound because it's all going to the Hands-free one. Alt "fix" Switch to hands-free on the bottom of your screen (Sound tab on the taskbar) Nonrelated fix Run OBS as an administrator.

This is how to fix the problem where obs studio will not record any audio. You may hear the audio and see the volume level meter move as audio plays, but the audio is not recorded with the video.

When using OBS Studio (I don't know for SLOBS) Alerts through a Browser Source go out to your viewers using Desktop Audio. If you want to have that muted, or want to control your alerts volume separately, this should work for you. Gulible
