In the War of the Elves and Sauron, Eregion was laid waste and Elrond was sent from Lindon with a host of Elves to aid Eregion in resisting Sauron. However Elrond arrived too late and along with the refugees from Eregion was forced to retreat back to a valley which they made into a stronghold. This was the beginning of Rivendell. Sauron laid siege to it but with the arrival of the Númenóreans the besieging force was destroyed. Mithlond Because of its cultural and spiritual importance to the Elves, the Grey Havens in time became the primary Elven settlement west of the Misty Mountains prior to the establishment of Eregion and later, Rivendell. Even after the death of Gil-galad and as the Elves dwindled in numbers by the year, the Grey Havens remained a major Elven settlement and the main departure point of Elven ships to Aman. The High Elves are well known for being one of the easiest campaigns in the game and this extends to their roster in battle. They are loaded with excellent units and have a little bit of everything to give you a taste of every playstyle. This is my incredibly scuffed High Elf experience in total war warhammer 2. If you're looking for a fantastic warhammer 2 guide on how to play the high elves, this is probably not the guide for you. I would recommend you go watch a video from the legendoftotalwar instead of me. This total war guide is more on how NOT to play as high elves, my tactics are incredibly jank and I had to choose Tyrion because this was my very first campaign. I was seeking any guidance other than the many Reddit posts and tier lists I watched online looking for the best high elf units and doomstacks. But as I learned, these campaigns do not always play out like the simulations especially when the Skaven are involved. If anything, I want you to enjoy the total war memes hopefully I didn't use too many vine booms in here I tried to keep it all reasonable. Anyways, this was my total war warhammer 2 experience, I hope you enjoy me somehow turning the most talented diplomatic leader into an idiotic battle junkie tyrant that declares war on more factions than Gandhi from civilization. What you have just watched is just one of our many videos on youtube where we play various games and break them with perfectly "normal" strategies and exploits to gain things like infinite money to buy unlimited overpowered troops. Little is talked about the High Elves in World of Warcraft, what lip service it does get is just that; lip service. This video uses the WoW RPG books that are no longer canon to retell the story of the High Elves. Some of what is said you maybe already know, but a lot of the finer details are usually left out of the story of Warcraft. My mission with this series and with my channel as a whole is to get Blizzard to listen to the more niche aspects of community who might've felt, as I have, hopeless for years when it comes to being answered to. There are many aspects of the lore and game that could cater to those of us that care about the story and ultimate world of Warcraft that just doesn't get implemented by Blizzard. I try to take a more positive spin than just trashing Blizzard as that gets us nowhere and I genuinely think there are people on the team that accomplish good things. There is so much needed for the FANTASY of Warcraft to be revived, that I'm hoping my little channel and us as a community can nudge Blizzard back in the right direction that it had slowly lost over the last decade or so. In the War of the Elves and Sauron, Eregion was laid waste and Elrond was sent from Lindon with a host of Elves to aid Eregion in resisting Sauron. Sauron laid siege to it but with the arrival of the Númenóreans the besieging force was destroyed. Mithlond Because of its cultural and spiritual importance to the Elves, the Grey Havens in time became the primary Elven settlement west of the Misty Mountains prior to the establishment of Eregion and later, Rivendell. Even after the death of Gil-galad and as the Elves dwindled in numbers by the year, the Grey Havens remained a major Elven settlement and the main departure point of Elven ships to Aman.
