Today, I am going to show you 2 easy ways to make it. 🥢 RECIPE - Note: The product links below are affiliate links. Basic egg drop soup [serve 2] - 2 cups of chicken stock - The white part of the onion - 1.5 tbsp of cornstarch + 1.5 tbsp of chicken stock - 2 eggs - 1/2 tsp of salt or to taste - 1/4 tsp of white pepper - The green part of the onion for garnish Tomato egg drop soup [serve 2] - 1 small tomato diced - 1 clove of garlic grated - 1 tsp of ginger finely diced - 1/2 tbsp of white of the spring onion - 2 tsp of oil - 1/2 tsp of salt or to taste - 1 tsp of sugar - 2.5 cups of chicken stock - 1.5 tbsp of cornstarch + 1.5 tbsp of chicken stock - 2 eggs - Some spring onion for garnish INSTRUCTION FOR THE BASIC EGG DROP SOUP - Crack 2 eggs and beat it well. - In a clean pot. Pour in 2 cups of chicken stock and add some white part of spring onion. You can also use water, but chicken stock provides much more flavor. Bring this to a boil. - While waiting, mix 1.5 tbsp of cornstarch and 1.5 tbsp of water together. - When the chicken stock is boiling. Slowly pour in the cornstarch water and stir it at the same time so it doesn’t clump up. In less than a minute, the stock should be slightly thickened. - Next, it is the egg drop part. Make sure you stir it while adding the egg. In this way, you create an extra silky egg drop soup. - Add some salt and white pepper to taste. Serve it in a bowl. Sprinkle some spring onion. This is the most basic egg drop soup that you will find in your local Chinese restaurant. In my family, we usually make the one that has tomato in it. INSTRUCTION FOR THE TOMATO EGG DROP SOUP - Diced a small tomato - Add some oil to the pot, along with some aromatics - grated garlic, ginger, and a little bit white part of the spring onion. Stir them until fragrant. - Add in the diced tomato. Saute it for about a minute. You will see the tomato became saucy. Add some sugar and a salt to taste. If you want to be creative, you can add some protein at this point, such as minced meat, tofu slices. I just want this soup to be simple, salt and sugar is enough to make a good flavor. - The rest of the steps are the same. Bring this to a boil and pour in the cornstarch water. After the soup got thicken up, stir in the egg as well. - Serve it in a bowl. Sprinkle some spring onion. This is the style that my family makes all the time. It has a little touch of sweet and sour taste. It is very nice for such quick and easy soup. Usually, this is no the only dish that you will have on your dinner table. We will serve it with other dishes like stir-fry recipes or meat main dish. It is so soft, creamy, silky, It can go with almost any food. It is very cheap but it comforts your heart.

LENTIL SOUP RECIPE | Easy Recipes for Vegetarian and Vegan Diet 💬 Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed my Lentil Soup Recipe? ▶️ RECIPE INGREDIENTS LIST: 1 cup /180g Red lentils 2+1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1 cup / 130g Onion - chopped 2 cups / 250g Carrots - chopped in small cubes - 2 medium size carrots 1 cup / 200g Yukon Gold Potatoes - 1 large or 2 small in size 2 Garlic cloves / 2 teaspoons approx. 3 Tablespoon / 42g Tomato Paste 4 Cups / 900ml Vegetable Broth 2+1/2 Cup / 575ml Water 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (OPTIONAL) Salt to taste (I have added total 1+3/4 teaspoon of Pink Himalayan salt) Lemon Juice to taste (I have added 1 teaspoon, I like it a bit sour but you do you) INGREDIENTS FOR TEMPERING: 1+1/2 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1/2 Teaspoon Minced/Grated Garlic or to taste 1/4 to 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Dried Chilies ▶️ METHOD: Thoroughly wash the red lentils until water runs clear. Then soak in water for 1 hour. To a heated pot, add olive oil, chopped onion, carrots, 1/4 teaspoon salt and fry on medium heat until it’s lightly browned. Then add the garlic and fry on medium-low to medium heat (depending on the heat of your stove) for about 1 minute or until fragrant. Add add ground cumin, cayenne, tomato paste and fry on medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the potatoes, soaked/strained red lentils, salt, vegetable broth, water and mix well. Bring to a boil and the reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for about 30 minutes or until the lentil and potatoes are cooked. After 30 minutes, uncover to check if the lentils are cooked, if not cooked cover and cook for a bit longer. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool down before blending. Blend into a smooth puree and Add lemon juice and also taste for seasoning. Cover and set aside while we prepare the tempering. TO PREPARE THE TEMPERING: To a small pan, add olive oil, minced garlic, crushed dried chilies and then heat it up on low to medium-low heat. TURN OFF THE HEAT AS SOON AS the just begins garlic starts to sizzle (DO NOT DELAY) - this will prevent the garlic from burning. ✅👉 NOTE: Be careful not to burn it. BURNT TEMPERING WILL MAKE THE SOUP BITTER. After turning off the heat add the paprika and mix quickly in the warm oil and add it to the soup. Mix the tempering in the soup well and RIGHT AWAY COVER THE POT to seal in the flavours and let it rest for 4 to 5 minutes for the flavours to blend. Serve hot with some toast and a side salad or just by itself. This is a perfect recipe for meal prep so you can make a big batch of it and freeze it in portions to consume later. ▶️ IMPORTANT NOTES: 👉 How to know if the lentils are soaked well? You should be able to cut a lentil piece with your nails, effortlessly. If not, then soak longer 👉 Cooking time of the lentils depends on the quality of the lentils. Sometimes one batch of red lentils are drier than the others and may need more cooking time. SO ADJUST THE COOKING TIME ACCORDINGLY. It took me 30 minutes on my stove 👉 Cut the carrots and potatoes in small cubes so that it can cook fast 👉 Adding salt to the onion and carrots will release it's moisture and help it cook faster so please don’t skip it 👉 Every stove is different so regulate the heat as required. If at any point you notice the pan is getting over heated, then reduce the heat. 👉 Regarding the tempering - Fry on LOW to MEDIUM-LOW heat, just until the garlic starts to sizzle. TURN OFF THE HEAT, AS SOON AS the garlic begins to sizzle (DO NOT DELAY) - this will prevent the garlic from burning. Then quickly mix the paprika in the warm oil and add it to the soup. ✅ Be careful not to burn the ingredients. An easy and delicious creamy potato soup recipe that can be made in just one pot! ↓↓↓↓↓CLICK FOR MORE↓↓↓↓↓↓ Loaded with bacon and creamy potato goodness, this is a favorite comfort food in my household. Full Printable Recipe: 🤍 Immersion Blender (Affiliate Link): 🤍 Le Creuset Dutch Oven (Affiliate Link): 🤍 Blender (Affiliate Link): 🤍 Ingredients 2 ½ lbs gold potatoes peeled and diced into pieces no larger than 1” (this was about 6 Large potatoes for me/1.15kg) 6 strips (uncooked) bacon cut into small pieces 3 Tablespoons butter ⅓ cup all-purpose flour 42g 1 medium yellow onion chopped (about 1.5 cup/200g) 3 large garlic cloves minced 4 cups chicken broth 945ml 2 cups milk 475ml 2/3 cup heavy cream 155ml 1 ½ teaspoon* salt 1 teaspoon ground pepper 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ancho chili powder 2/3 cup sour cream 160g Shredded cheddar cheese, chives, and additional sour cream and bacon for topping optional Instructions Place bacon pieces in a large Dutch Oven or soup pot over medium heat and cook until bacon is crisp and browned. Remove bacon pieces and set aside, leaving the fat in the pot. Add butter and chopped onion and cook over medium heat until onions are tender (3-5 minutes). Add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Sprinkle the flour over the ingredients in the pot and stir until smooth (use whisk if needed). Add diced potatoes to the pot along with chicken broth, milk, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and ancho chili powder. Stir well. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork (about 10 minutes). Reduce heat to simmer and remove approximately half* of the soup to a blender (be careful, it will be hot!) and puree until smooth (this is about 5 cups of soup, but just eyeballing the amount will be fine. Alternatively you can use an immersion blender.). Return the pureed soup to the pot and add sour cream and reserved bacon pieces, stir well. Allow soup to simmer for 15 minutes before serving. Top with additional sour cream, bacon, cheddar cheese, or chives. Enjoy! Notes *I recommend starting with a more reserved amount of salt and then adding more as needed, the amount of salt needed will vary depending on the type/brand of broth you use If you haven't used ancho chili powder before, I recommend starting with 1/4 teaspoon and then taste-testing before increasing to 1/2 teaspoon if you like the taste. *If you want a completely creamy soup you can puree all of it, just puree in batches, about half of the soup at a time. I prefer my potato soup with actual chunks of potatoes and prefer to puree just half of it. Ingredients and how to make it: 1 can of rotel 1 zucchini chopped 1 cup chopped carrots 5 oz frozen spinach 8 oz sour cream 1 package of tortellini 4 cups of water 4 chicken bullion cubes salt and pepper to taste 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon parsley 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder Instructions: Combine all in ingredients in a stock pot or slow cooker EXCEPT the sour cream and tortellini. Slow Cooker: Cook on low for 4 hours. Stock Pot: Cook until all the vegetables are cooked. When done on either one, stir in sour cream and tortellini. Stir frequently to prevent clumping in the sour cream. When the tortellini is done cooking, dish up and serve! Es ist sehr gut, Obst und Gemüse mit Soda zu waschen. So werden die Produkte besser gereinigt. Fein hacken. Ich füge mehr Salz hinzu. Schwarzer Pfeffer. 2 Eier. Joghurt 100 gr. / 1/2 Tasse. Gut mischen. Fadennudeln 50 gr. Zugedeckt 12 Minuten bei mittlerer Hitze garen. Ich füge noch 2 Gläser Wasser hinzu. Unsere Suppe wird köstlich sein. Während die Suppe kocht, mache ich leckere Snacks. Lassen Sie uns ein paar Minuten backen. Salz. Kräuter der Provence. Geräucherte Paprika. Knoblauchpulver. Olivenöl. Parmesan. Im Backofen bei 200°C (400°F) 10-15 Minuten backen. Wir fügen unserer köstlichen Suppe Gemüse hinzu. Was für ein Duft!!! Brühe hinzufügen. Eimischung zugeben. Gut umrühren! Easy soup recipes. Fall Soup Ideas. Potato Soup. What is the best soup to eat? Potato soup is definitely one of them in my opinion. This is a perfect fall soup recipe. This is so rich, creamy, and smells like heaven. Definitely a good comfort food options for those cold, wet, dreary days. It will warm you right up. Ingredients: 6 strips (uncooked) bacon cut into small pieces3 Tablespoons butter 1 medium yellow onion chopped 3 large garlic cloves minced⅓ cup all-purpose flour 6 Large potatoes 4 cups chicken broth 2 cups milk ⅔ cup heavy cream 1 ½ teaspoon* salt 1 teaspoon ground pepper¼ teaspoon chipotle chili powder⅔ cup sour cream Shredded cheddar cheese, chives, and additional sour cream and bacon for topping if desired 1. Place bacon pieces in a large soup pot over medium heat and cook until bacon is done 2. Remove bacon pieces and set aside, leaving the fat in the pot. 3. Add butter and chopped onion and cook over medium heat until onions are tender (3-5 minutes). 4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds 5. Sprinkle the flour over the ingredients in the pot and stir until combined 6. Add diced potatoes to the pot along with chicken broth, milk, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Stir. 7. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. About 10 minutes from when it starts to boil. 8. Reduce heat to simmer and remove about half of the soup to a blender and puree until smooth. 9. Return the pureed soup to the pot and add sour cream and reserved bacon pieces, stir well. 10. Allow soup to simmer for 15 minutes before serve I actually cut the recipe in half when I cooked this because this makes a pretty big batch. SOUP RECIPES! 3 Simple WINTER SOUPS for the Soul. Happy New Year BuzyBeez! During these cold winter months all I want to do is cuddle in bed, wear thick chunky sweaters, and eat hot soup. It makes me feel cozy and warms my soul. So I'm sharing these simple Winter Soup recipes that will not only keep you full, they’ll also warm you up with minimal time in the kitchen. Recipes are written out below! ➜ PREORDER My New COOKBOOK! 🤍 ➜ SUBSCRIBE: 🤍 ➜ Blog: 🤍 ➜ Instagram: 🤍 ➜ Twitter: 🤍 ➜ Business inquires: hi🤍dzunglewis.com ➜ Mailing Address: 26500 Agoura Rd Ste 102 Calabasas, CA 91302 Lentil Soup Recipe: 2 tbsp olive oil 1 cup onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 carrot, chopped 2 celeries, chopped 1/2 cup dried lentils - french green lentils or red lentils are great 1 cup crushed tomatoes 3-4 cups of vegetable broth if you want it completely vegan or you can add chicken bone broth 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp thyme 1 tsp paprika powder Juice from half a lemon 1 tsp kosher salt In a large stock pot, drizzle a bit of olive oil and let it get hot on medium high heat. Add onions, celery, and carrots and let them cook for 5-7 minutes until the onions are translucent and the vegetables slightly caramelize. Next, add the spices and let them open up for a minute. Mix well then add garlic, crushed tomatoes, dried lentils, stock, and a bay leaf (optional). Bring the soup to a boil for about 10 minutes and then simmer on medium low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the lentils are soft and cooked through. This soup is great in 30 minutes, but if you want to continue simmering it for longer and let the flavors further develop, you can absolutely do that. Just make sure to add an extra cup of broth or water. I love this soup on day 2 because believe it or not, it gets even better! Right before serving, just be sure to add juice from half a lemon and salt to really brighten everything up. This soup will be one of your favorite go to’s during the Winter. Thai Coconut Ramen Soup Recipe: 2 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup sliced mushrooms ½ cup sliced red bell peppers 3 garlic cloves 1 tablespoon thai red curry paste 1 chicken breast, sliced 4 cups chicken broth 1 cup coconut milk 1 tablespoon fish sauce 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 lemongrass stalk 2 Kaffir lime leaves Bok Choy / spinach / greens Lime juice Cilantro Green onions In a pot, add olive oil and let it get hot. Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. saute for 5 mimuntes until cooked through. Remove from heat. Add another drizzle of olive oil and add the smashed lemongrass in. Add mushrooms, bell peppers, garlic and saute for 3 minutes. Add red curry paste and mix well. Add coconut milk, chicken broth, fish sauce, brown sugar and kaffir lime leaves. You can find dried leaves in the specialty asian section if you can’t find fresh leaves (typically available at asian groceries). Let the broth simmer for 20 minutes and then add chicken back in. Right before serving, add noodles and bring broth to a boil and add in squeeze of lime and the bok choy and turn off heat. YOu want the bok choy to still maintain its crunch otherwise it’ll get super watery. Ladle out into bowl with noodles and enjoy. Top with cilantro and green onions and another squeeze of lime if you like it tart. Black Bean Soup 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil ½ medium onion, finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup fire roasted tomatoes kosher salt 2 tsps. chili powder 2 tsps. cumin 2 (15-oz.) cans black beans, with liquid 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth 1 bay leaf IN a pot, add olive oil and let it get hot. Add chopped onions and cook for 5 minutes until translucent and fragrant. Add garlic cloves, fire roasted tomato, spices, black beans, vegetable broth, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes until flavors have melded. WIth an immersion blender, pulse until parts of the black beans are pureed but the soup is still chunky. It's vegetarian, dairy-free, and can easily be made vegan or gluten-free. Make-ahead and freezer friendly! Ingredients 1 tablespoon canola oil 1 small onion (finely diced) 2 ribs celery (sliced) 3 large carrots (peeled and finely chopped) 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 tablespoon minced garlic (2 large cloves) 1½ teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil ¼ teaspoon black pepper ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 2 cups fresh spinach (roughly chopped) 4 cups low sodium chicken broth 28 oz canned diced tomatoes (798 ml) no salt added 1 cup canned red kidney beans* (rinsed) 8 oz 1 cup canned white kidney beans* (rinsed) 8 oz 1 cups small uncooked pasta (I used medium shells) Parmesan for serving Instructions In a large pot cook and stir the oil, carrots, celery and onion over medium-high heat until the onion has softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add the salt, garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, and pepper and cook 1 minute. Add the broth, tomatoes, and beans. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender. Stir in pasta, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until pasta reaches desired tenderness, stirring often. Stir in spinach and serve with shredded Parmesan cheese as desired.
